Barack Obama hit the campaign trail on Saturday to help boost Democrats in Ohio with his old, tired message of ‘Hope and Change.’
Obama rallied in Cleveland for Democrat US Senate candidate Sherrod Brown and Democrat gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton.
Shortly before Obama took center stage, the event opened with a performance of the Black National Anthem (Lift Every Voice and Sing).
Obama took the stage and made the rally about himself as he took a swipe at his wife, Michelle.
“Let’s face it. I’ve been doing this a long time! Sherrod talks about the first time I came here I did not have a single grey hair,” Obama said, making the rally about himself.
“Some people might say a little too long…” he said.
“And one of those people is Michelle Obama! But, but she gave me a hall pass this weekend!” Obama said.
Obama trashed President Trump and accused him of incompetence.
“[This election] just feels a little bit different!” Obama said. “People are so sick and tired of being sick and tired. After two years of chaos and cruelty. and corruption. and incompetence, you get a chance to say enough is enough!”
Obama also mocked Trump for his renovations.
“[Trump] has got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory. It’s gold everywhere,” Obama said.
