Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayOnly time will tell if Carney’s utopian plan to financially “incarcerate” most Canadians blows up in his face.

As a follow up to my recent ‘The Loonie Toonie Curtain’ article, it occurred to me that the Honorable Mark Carney has made a common liberal politician miscalculation. On both sides of the Canada-United States border, liberal politicians just don’t think things through completely. Mayor Mamdani of New York City is finding that his idealistic utopian socialist plan isn’t working in the real world. The clash between idealism and reality is a #.
In the case of Carney, he has established a financial fence to keep the average Canadian from escaping the “pit of despair” he has created for Canadian citizens. However, his financial fence will not keep the Canadians paying the highest taxes from vacating the country for a more tax friendly location. Governor Kathy Hochul found this out after she arrogantly invited the wealthy of New York state to accept “her way or the highway regarding high taxes,” and those rich people, who could afford it, choose the highway, and are now paying taxes in other states.
Governor Hochul is now begging them to come back and to write a check for the privilege. Has she learned her lesson about being careful what one wishes for?
Only time will tell if Carney’s utopian plan to financially “incarcerate” most Canadians blows up in his face.
