“It’s not just shocking, it’s not just offensive. It’s bizarre, it is erratic, it’s volatile,” she told reporters. “And I think it indicates a mental state that we should all be questioning right now. ... It is not normal to make these accusations. It is not normal to invoke these kinds of threats of violence.”

The progressive lawmaker made the remarks on Friday. Trump has raged at the six Congressional Democrats with military and intelligence backgrounds who issued a video urging service members to refuse “illegal orders.” He continued over the weekend.
Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), who said threats against her skyrocketed amid Trump’s incendiary attacks, and Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) headlined the clip amid murky times for service members. Trump has spearheaded legally disputed federal deployments into blue cities that he says are to curb crime. The administration has also ordered fatal strikes on suspected drug smugglers at sea, raising legal issues.
Trump called the video makers traitors and said their behavior was “punishable by death.” He even boosted a social entry calling for their hanging.
On Saturday, he called it “sedition at the highest level” and said that all involved should be in jail.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche strongly suggested last week that the Department of Justice would investigate the matter.
