Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe heat-related deaths across Europe serve as a warning that adhering to unrelenting ideologies devised by those without common sense and a sense of realism can cost lives;

After living in the Sunshine State for most of my life, I can tell you that, as far as I’m concerned, air conditioning (A/C) is one of the wonders of the world. After we suffered back-to-back hurricanes in late 2024, we lost power for eight days. It sounds trivial compared to what others have gone through and continue to go through, but I’m not complaining. I simply wanted to make a point that when you lose something that you have learned to depend on, you appreciate it so much more when it returns.
So, ask yourself, if the all-time highs were established that far in the past, why was no one worried then?
Losing something as precious as A/C when the heat can be stifling is understandable when it’s caused by a natural disaster. But when it’s lost because of delusional beliefs in one of the greatest hoaxes of the last century, and complicated further by arrogance, that’s too tough of a pill to swallow.
The hoax I’m referring to is climate change. I have written about it many times. I still find it difficult to believe that there are people who can be fooled by such obvious lies. The truth is obvious, and you really don’t have to look very hard to find it.
Just today, for instance, while watching the Weather Channel, they were discussing the current heat wave that’s gripping parts of the country. As they mused about the possibility of breaking all-time highs, most of the previous highs were set over fifty years ago, and some were even older.
So, ask yourself, if the all-time highs were established that far in the past, why was no one worried then? It’s a rhetorical question. The truth is that the weather changes. There are heat waves and cold fronts, and there always will be. Some will be worse than others, but that’s nothing new. They will come and go like they always have; it’s just what the weather does.
The truth is the climate does change; it’s called seasons. Also, no year is exactly the same. Some are cooler, some are hotter, some are wet, and some are dry. That said, “Climate Change” doesn’t exist in the context that the left portrays it.
The Hadley Centre has some measurements beginning in 1850, but there are too few data points before 1880 for scientists to estimate average temperatures for the entire planet. Therefore, the left wants us to believe that they can predict climate change with only 146 years of data on a planet that is 4.54 billion years old.
Remember, these people are unstable and will allow this to seep into many other areas
The left is attempting to pull off an environmental scam that is designed for only one thing, and that is a significant transference of wealth. They intend to accomplish this through strict regulation enforcement and new leftist-owned corporations benefiting from them. The left’s version of “Climate Change” has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with their bank accounts.
Unfortunately, for rational thinking people, the left now has a contingent of the misinformed, unthinking, and naïve who need a cause to cling to, and the cause these zombies have chosen is the weather.
Remember, these people are unstable and will allow this to seep into many other areas. When a politician is a climate zombie surrounded by others like them, things can get out of hand quickly.
Case in point, Germany's public broadcaster ARD has recently launched an "anti-AC campaign," raising concerns among citizens about the purported "dangers" of air conditioning. This initiative is particularly misguided, as Europe faces a severe heat wave that has forced governments to close schools, shut down tourist sites, and shorten business hours. Tragically, this heat wave has also resulted in dozens of fatalities.
The nonsense happening in Europe is the grim result of two decades steeped in leftist climate ideology. Minor inconveniences are transformed into rigid policies and cultural norms that prioritize emission reductions over human survival.
For the past 20 years, we have been lied to and told that climate change poses the greatest existential threat to humanity. We have been urged to take immediate action, even if it requires sacrificing some comfort and convenience, to avoid a catastrophic outcome.
Initially, the proposed solutions included manageable changes, such as banning plastic grocery bags and paper straws. However, the demands have escalated to campaigns aimed at significantly reducing meat consumption, increased calls to restrict gas stoves, and government mandates encouraging drivers to switch from gas-powered cars to electric vehicles.
I have never owned an electric vehicle or a hybrid, and I never will. One of my favorite things to do is to ask a smug EV owner where they think the electricity comes from. The deer-in-the-headlights look is always worth it.
This mind-numbing nonsense changes nothing. Paper straws and paper bags, cars that run on electricity that is still produced with fossil fuels, wind farms that fall apart and are useless, all because the elites planted thoughts in the heads of the naïve that cars and cow gas are killing the planet.
Meanwhile, electric stoves are generally more expensive than gas stoves, and electric vehicles (EVs) experience significant range loss in extreme heat or cold.
Some are experiencing higher electricity bills and rolling blackouts as utility companies close coal and gas plants in favor of unreliable solar and wind energy. Talk about Big Brother: in one instance, a utility company even remotely took control of smart thermostats in thousands of Colorado homes during peak summer heat, leaving homeowners unable to control the temperature in their own homes.
Most naïve and uninformed people tolerated these inconveniences, higher costs, and even temporary loss of control as necessary sacrifices for the planet. Still, research indicates that many measures provide only minimal reductions in CO₂ emissions, and some may even be counterproductive. For instance, life-cycle assessments reveal that cotton reusable bags can have a significantly higher carbon footprint than single-use plastic bags unless they are reused dozens or even hundreds of times.
Americans have found some comfort in being somewhat shielded from Europe’s strict climate policy demands. Europe has positioned itself at the forefront of the climate initiative, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050. Many countries have shut down coal plants, phased out nuclear power, banned fracking, and reduced natural gas production. These policies have led to a decrease in affordable energy supplies, caused energy prices to rise sharply, and increased reliance on weather-dependent renewable energy sources.
Europe is learning painful lessons on deception and manipulation
For example, shortly after Spain celebrated periods of 100 percent renewable electricity in 2025, the Iberian Peninsula experienced a massive blackout that affected millions of people in Spain and Portugal for over 10 hours.
Europe's campaign against fossil fuels has led to a decline in living standards. Today, Europeans are significantly poorer than their American counterparts. The European Union's share of global consumption decreased from 25 percent in 2008 to 18 percent in 2019, while the U.S. share increased from 25 percent to 28 percent. Even in once-affluent cities like Brussels, Belgium, teachers and nurses have been lining up for discounted groceries. In Germany, per capita meat consumption has fallen to its lowest level since 1989.
Europe is learning painful lessons on deception and manipulation. They are fulfilling some leftist elitists’ delusion, which they were told would make their lives better, but it has only made their existence worse.
Now, some smug politician or official will stand up in front of his comrades and smile about the EU’s lowered consumption rate, but they won't mention that the lives of their citizens are going to hell in a handbasket.
The World Health Organization has reported that heat has caused over 200,000 deaths in the EU and associated countries over the past four years, nearly all of which were preventable. Not unlike here, France's weather agency has noted that current temperatures are similar to those seen during the 2003 heat wave; like here, it highlights that Europe is not experiencing entirely unprecedented extremes.
Climate change is a myth devised so that those in charge can maneuver wealth through shadow companies, nonsensical regulations, and unnecessary taxes
So, while climate lunatics scream at the sky, people are dying from the heat, not because it’s unprecedented, but because officials won’t allow them to protect themselves from it with even the simplest comforts.
The comrades in Brussels reportedly keep the air conditioning running on the upper floors while restricting it on the lower floors. When governments dismiss essential technologies, such as reliable cooling, in favor of abstract future goals, their priorities become dangerously misaligned.
Leftist hypocrisy is on full display when prominent figures in the climate movement, who campaigned for it vigorously, including Bill Gates, have started to push back against the “doomsday outlook.” They argue that climate change will not lead to the extinction of humanity and that resources should also be directed toward addressing immediate crises such as poverty and disease.”
Climate change lunatics who occupy government positions view those below them as inadequate and collateral damage. They will protect themselves and get wealthy in the process, while hard-working citizens suffer in the cold and heat.
Climate change is a myth devised so that those in charge can maneuver wealth through shadow companies, nonsensical regulations, and unnecessary taxes.
The heat-related deaths across Europe serve as a warning that adhering to unrelenting ideologies devised by those without common sense and a sense of realism can cost lives. Human flourishing should never be regarded as trivial in the pursuit of abstract ideals.
