What’s Going On in the Middle East and Venezuela? Peter Koenig
By Peter Koenig, October 24, 2025
What we observe today in the Middle East is Israel attempting to expand to the “Greater-Greater Israel”, including Iran and possibly Iraq. It is the Oded Yinon Plan of the early 1980s, not known to most people even Israelis. The plan goes way beyond the Greater Israel plan. Pursing this plan means endless war and bloodshed.
Why the US Blockade of Cuba Should Go Away Forever
By Bharat Dogra, October 24, 2025
Despite increasing demands from many parts of the world and repeatedly from the United Nations for ending the USA sanctions and embargo against Cuba, these now exist in such a comprehensive and extreme form that it makes more sense to speak of a US blockade of Cuba, not just embargo.
“Osama Bin Sikorski’s” Incitement to Terrorism Risks Backfiring on Poland
By Andrew Korybko, October 24, 2025
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recently coined the nickname “Osama Bin Sikorski” for Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski after he posted on X about his hope that Ukraine “finally succeeds in knocking out” the Druzhba oil pipeline that supplies Hungary.

It has now become a sort of a tradition to report on the successes of the Russian 9K720M “Iskander-M” system. Its 9M723 missiles are among the world’s earliest serial production hypersonic weapons, entering service back in 2006 (even with the delays due to the unfortunate dismantling of the Soviet Union, Moscow was still able to maintain decades-worth of lead in hypersonic technologies).
As a Palestinian Pastor, I Can’t Call This ‘Peace’ Plan Justice
By Rev. Munther Isaac, October 24, 2025
As a pastor and a Palestinian living in the West Bank, I write with gratitude and grief. I am grateful that, for a moment, the people of Gaza can breathe. I am grateful for every life spared, for every child who can wake up to silence rather than explosions. I rejoice for those released from captivity—Palestinian and Israeli—and I mourn for those who did not return. I grieve deeply for the thousands who remain imprisoned, displaced, and exiled, denied even the dignity of mourning.
Who Are the Beneficiaries of Trump’s Investment Pledges? Are They Viable?
By Helena Glass, October 24, 2025
The Trump team’s impressive announcement of new investments pledged for America is worthy of a bit of analysis. For example Apple has pledged a $600 billion investment for “US manufacturing and workforce training”. Apple’s net worth is $56.9 billion. Current cash is $61 billion on current liabilities of $95 billion. Where will they find $600 billion? The money-changers?

In 2014, pro-Western Ukrainians from Western Ukraine overthrew the pro-Russian Ukrainian government after the Maidan protests, and pro-Russian Eastern Ukrainians rose against this government, which sought to bring Ukraine closer to the European Union and NATO, asking Russia for assistance.

The alliance is cracking. Christian Zionism, Israeli supremacy, and U.S. strategic containment of Palestine have long masked and juggled their contradictions. October 7 exposed the scaffolding — and made the contradictions impossible to ignore. This essay names them.
EU Unable to Meet Ammunition Target for Ukraine
By Lucas Leiroz de Almeida, October 23, 2025
Recently, European Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas announced that the EU will not be able to meet its goal of sending two million shells to Ukraine. The package is short by 300,000 shells, and there appear to be insufficient resources within the bloc to meet the originally planned target.
