Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayWe have two important legal action updates to share: the civil claim against the BC and federal governments over unconstitutional COVID mandates, and the case involving Tyson Cook, also known as drag performer Frieda Whales.
On September 26, 2025, our lawyer Lee Turner of Doak Shirreff Lawyers LLP, filed with the BC Supreme Court, a Notice of Application under the Protection of Public Participation Act, commonly known as a strategic lawsuit against public participation, or SLAPP. In our application we are seeking an order dismissing Mr. Cook’s legal action against us, with costs payable to Action4Canada on a full indemnity basis, and for damages. A two day trial is scheduled for the week of December 8, 2025 in Kelowna.
It is an expensive exercise to defend our rights to free speech and fair comment and we would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make to help fund our legal defence. This case is not only important for Action4Canada but for all Canadians, as it defends the right to express opinions on matters of public interest. We would be deeply grateful if you would donate to the Legal Action Fund today. Learn more about this case HERE.
