Alphonso Cooper Jr. is no longer facing trial for his alleged role in a shooting during a fireworks show in Detroit. The incident, which occurred on June 23, left two individuals injured, including a 17-year-old who suffered gunshot wounds to his legs and a 22-year-old who was shot in her right hand. Culvreth, who didn’t hear the gunshots, became alarmed when she noticed a group of teenage boys rushing toward her. “I saw a group of teenage boys running past me, my cousin, and her best friend — and a group of girls followed soon after and said that they were fighting,” she added.
