Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayPresident Donald Trump was heartily booed by fans as he attended Monday night’s NBA finals game between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs.
But Trump didn’t hear it that way.
“I think mostly cheers,” he told reporters after the game. “It was loud, and it was very enthusiastic.”
That doesn’t match footage of the event, or the White House pool report, which notes that the president was “thunderously booed” when he was shown on screen inside Madison Square Garden in New York.

Fans outside the arena could be heard cursing at Trump as he arrived at the end of a clip the president himself posted on social media.
He was even blamed by some fans for jinxing the Knicks and breaking the team’s 13-game playoff winning streak.
Given all that, Trump’s critics on social media weren’t buying his claim that it was “mostly cheers.”
They responded with some jeers of their own:
He is so predictable, everyone knew he was going to lie and say he was cheered. People will believe him https://t.co/qAldcuzEIV
